Washington Divers has been serving the great Northwest for over thirty years. We opened our doors in 1973, and since then have certified several thousand scuba divers. It is our primary goal to create smart and safe divers. To that end, we strive to educate our customers so that they are confident, capable, and competent in the water. Our education system engenders this – if you are safe, then every dive becomes a fun dive!
Through Scuba Schools International, we train divers at all levels – from watermanship and snorkeling skills to Open Water Instructor. SSI has an outstanding Audio / Visual Teaching System which is formatted to meet the needs of any student. Through several hours of group discussion, skills practice, pool work, and six Open Water dives, we feel certain that you will begin an enjoyable, lifelong journey through the underwater world.
To further that journey, we also offer many Specialty Classes through SSI. From drysuit diving to wreck diving – there are no limits to what you can discover. Along with SSI, we also offer training through American Nitrox Divers International. ANDI is the premiere educator in mixed gas and technical-diver training. If recreational diving is not exciting enough for you, ask about our Technical Diving Programs.
Beyond diver education, we are a full-service sales and repair facility. We offer many lines of top-quality dive equipment, and have an In-House repair facility to keep all of that gear in good working order.
Once your education and equipment needs are met, we have several outlets for your diving experiences. We offer local shore dives, dive charters in the San Juan Islands, Regional dive trips, and International dive travel. Our In-House travel agent can assist you in any future trip you might be interested in.
